Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District - This site has regulations and forms for the District, which regulates air emissions in Jefferson County.

Louisville Metro Government - Department within the Louisville Metro Government are responsible for the operation of programs in the areas of solid waste services; air pollution control; land use planning; development review and permitting; zoning enforcement; emergency management; and environmental health services. This agency developed the Cornerstone 2020 comprehensive land use plan.

Louisville and Jefferson County (Kentucky) Metropolitan Sewer District - MSD administers wastewater treatment, water quality protection, and hazardous materials response activities in Jefferson County.

Metro Louisville Environmental Health Services - The Metro Louisville Environmental Health Services is responsible for compliance with food hygiene, hazardous materials, indoor air quality, lead poisoning prevention, lifeguards, mosquito control, onsite sewage disposal, rabies, and swimming pools.
